Bayern football club has temporarily suspended the Senegalese representative Sadio Mane, who a day ago after the defeat to Manchester City (0:3) in the first match of the quarterfinals of the Champions League hit teammate Leroy Sane in the dressing room, reports Bild.
The German media remind that Mane and Sane verbally clashed at the end of the match in Manchester after a failed action, and then everything escalated into a physical confrontation when they entered the dressing room. Other Bayern players prevented a more serious incident.
German media reports that Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn and Sports Director Hasan Salihamidzic held a meeting with the two players today, and Mane was reportedly informed that he was temporarily suspended.
Mane apologized to his teammates today, and was then allowed to attend training.
Bild points out that Mane will miss several Bayern games due to the suspension, and will most likely be fined.
