Novara volleyball player Julija Ituma lost her life in Istanbul after falling from a hotel room window, reports Tutosport.
Italian media reports that Turkish authorities are investigating the details of the accident.
Also, it is stated that Ituma died under unexplained circumstances after the match between Novara and Ezachibashi.
Ituma (18) was one of the most promising Italian volleyball players.
Novara was defeated in Istanbul by Ezachibashi with a score of 3:0 in the second leg of the semi-final of the Champions League, and Ituma was part of the Italian club. Ituma won two points in this game. Ezacibashi qualified for the Champions League final, as Novara won 3:2 in the first match.
